Independent Claim Comparison Chart Generator

This tool automatically creates a table with the independent claims side by side for your convenience. The chart provides the user with a quick view of all of the independent claims for a patent. Dependent claims are also supported.

This tool is great for comparing and identifying independent and dependent claims which are very similar and sometimes identical. After all, if two claims are identical (or nearly so), why do the same work twice?

Patent Number	No punctuation or spaces please.	Utility, Re-issue and Patent Applications only. For example: 5555555 (Utility) or re36715 (Re-issue) For example: 20010000044 (Patent Application)
Borders		Select if you want lines dividing claims and/or claim elements.
Dependent Claims		Select "Order by Claim Number" if you want the dependent claims sorted according to the claim number. Select "Order by Dependency" if you want the claims output in the order that they depend upon the independent claims.
File Format		Select RTF for a document (e.g. MS Word, Corel WordPerfect, Sun StarOffice, etc...). Select XLS for a spreadsheet (Excel format compatible with Excel 97, 2000, 2002, and 2003)
